Final Week of Scheduled Play -

Monday April 24th is the final night of Scheduled Play for S2017. There are a few Postponed matches that will be played out. “C” and “D” Divisions final stats are targeted for release Wednesday or Thursday of this week. 1st Week Playoffs for May 1st will be announced at the same time.

“A” and “B” Divisions final stats are targeted for release on Tuesday, May 2nd. 2nd Week Playoffs for Monday May 8th will be announced on May 2nd.

Rising Star—Sunday April 23, 2017 Registration opens at 10 am, play starts at 11 am.

Women’s Open—Sunday April 30, 2017 Registration opens at 11 am, play starts at 12 am. (UPDATED Start Time)

Open Individuals—Sunday May 7, 2017. Registration opens at 9 am, play starts at 10 am.

Tops & Bottoms—Sunday May 14, 2017. Registration opens at 9 am, play starts at 10 am.

Above tournaments are at Pockets, Billiards & Brews. $10 Entry Fee and no late entries.

Charity Tournament—Monday June 12 at Pecs in the evening. Supporting San Diego LGBT Center.

SDPL Fundraiser—Monday June 19 at Pecs in the evening.

S2017 Awards Banquet -

Monday June 26, 2017 at The Butcher Shop. $40 for Guests, $25 for players with 1 to 13 games played. Registration opens at 5:45 pm, cocktails from 6 to 7 pm. Meals served at 7 pm with awards following. Preset menu selection required in advance and no changes to menu choice allowed. Captains have until May 8th to respond to RSVP teams turnout for the Banquet. The Butcher Shop Steakhouse is located at 5255 Kearny Villa Road, San Diego 92123. (858) 565-2272.

Additional Cost of $2.50 -

SDPL players who park in the Hillcrest area for Monday night play must now pay up to $2.50 to park in a metered parking stall after 6 pm. Hillcrest has changed the parking meter times from 10 am—6 pm to 12 pm—8 pm. Cost is $1.25 per hour.

Areas affected include between Washington & Robinson/Sixth Ave & Park Blvd; and between Washington & Upas St./Front St. & Sixth Ave. Pink notice does not say if the times are M-F or 7 days a week.

Parking meters with eyes is another story.

Final 2 Weeks of Play -

With only 2 weeks of match play left, it’s time to make sure both your team and individual stats are up to date. Any Postponed Matches should be announced when to be played.

‘C’ versus ‘D’’ Division Playoffs start May 1st. Please watch for updates posted on our website from the Statistician.
